An exciting opportunity in Cambridge for a Principal PICs Engineer working on the development of Photonic Integrated Circuits for quantum applications.

As the Principal PICs Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the photonics team in the design and characterization of photonic integrated circuits.

Skills necessary:

  • PHD in Physics, Electronic Engineering, or related discipline
  • Experience designing and characterizing PICs for quantum applications
  • Research experience in photonic systems or devices
  • Simulation skills with tools such as Lumerical or IPKISS
  • Good understanding of experimental approaches for quantum communications
