Position Overview:
My client is seeking a skilled and motivated Personal Injury Solicitor with a minimum of NQ level – 3 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) to join a dynamic team in Manchester. Their Personal Injury team specialises in seeking access to justice and rehabilitation for adults and children who have been catastrophically injured, including as a result of brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation and complex orthopaedic problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing own caseload of Personal Injury
- To obtain accurate information and instructions from our clients, analyse the legal and practical aspects of their claims and obtain the necessary documents/evidence to provide preliminary advice on liability/quantum/costs & funding.
- To deal with clients in a sensitive, professional and compassionate way.
- To help research and develop new areas of practice for the firm
- Assisting the Partner and running their own case load, investigating and pursuing serious injury litigation and undertaking research and business development.
- To assist the firm in achieving its stated professional and commercial objectives
Qualifications + Experience:
- Qualified lawyer with solid demonstrable experience in Personal Injury. It would ideally suit lawyers with 0-3 years of relevant post qualification experience.
- Ability to demonstrate a commitment to equality, access to justice and affordable legal advice of the highest quality.
- Experience in Serious Personal Injury
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively and efficiently.
- Demonstrated client-focused approach with a strong commitment to achieving the best outcomes for clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
