We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented AAT Qualified Part Time Bookkeeper/Accountant to join a friendly finance team. The Bookkeeper/Accountant will be integral to maintaining the financial health and integrity of  the business operations.

Paying Up to £20ph with Professional Development. 
Monday- Friday 10-2pm 

Duties of the Bookkeeper/ Accountant
Process payments, invoices, income, and receipts, and enter data into accounting software Xero 
File hard copies of financial documents accurately and efficiently.
Prepare financial statements, including business income and expenditure, ready for auditors.
Manage vendor invoice payments and sales invoice collections, while tracking bank account balances.
Complete VAT Returns, ensuring invoices are recorded in the correct accounting periods.
Verify the accuracy of business accounts and report any errors to the Financial Director.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Accountant/Bookkeeper in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software, specifically Xero, and familiarity with database management, Quantum preferred.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
