Key Responsibilities
Handling a caseload of employers and public liability claims from inception through to closure, under supervision. Ability to make early liability assessments on cases. Ability to consider and reach conclusions on liability. Ability to assess quantum. Drafting pleadings, reporting to clients, drafting witness statements, preparing instructions to counsel, experts and attending in conference and trials. Timely completion of MI. Practice a proactive approach to case assessment and settlement. Conducting research and keeping up to date with legal and industry practices.
Essential Skills & Experience
Experience of running a caseload including experience of determining liability. Experience of working within an employer's and public liability team. Previous experience of Defendant personal injury litigation. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently and effectively. A professional manner with the ability to build relationships internally and externally. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent academic background.
