The Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Legal Executive / Solicitor to join the Large & Complex Injury team in Liverpool. This role is ideal for an experienced lawyer with a strong background in complex and catastrophic injury claims, particularly high-value RTA cases exceeding £250k.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing pre- and post-litigation large loss claims, including cases involving orthopaedic injuries, chronic pain, brain injuries, and amputations.
  • Handling complex indemnity disputes, liability, and quantum issues.
  • Drafting detailed legal advice, conducting client consultations, and engaging in evidence gathering.
  • Preparing and submitting court documents and representing clients in court proceedings.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring clear and practical legal advice throughout the claims process.

The Ideal Candidate

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • At least 2 years' experience handling large loss claims within RTA multi-track litigation.
  • A strong technical legal background with expertise in managing high-value cases.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with a commercial approach to legal practice.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team while managing a busy caseload.
  • A flexible approach, with the ability to attend the Liverpool office 2-3 days per week.
