Role Overview:

As an Electronic Design Engineer, you will develop and maintain electronic hardware and embedded firmware for state-of-the-art instrumentation. You'll collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and support staff, with opportunities to research new technologies and influence the next generation of scientific equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and maintaining complex electronic systems and PCBAs

  • Developing embedded firmware for next-gen products

  • Troubleshooting, testing, and validating new designs

  • Researching new technologies and influencing future innovation

    The ideal candidate will have:

  • Degree in Electronic Engineering (or similar) + 5 years' experience

  • Strong skills in analogue design and embedded systems

  • Hands-on problem-solving and creative design thinking

  • Experience in high voltage, power electronics, PIC microcontrollers, or FPGA design is highly advantageous
