Assembly Technician - High Wycombe.

Primary Purpose of Assembly Technician:

To manufacture products and components to meet agreed quality, time-scale and cost objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

From team production plan, manage personal workload ensuring all milestones are achieved Supports the implementation of best practice processes, techniques and continuous improvement methods Operate within the Quality policy and procedures as defined in the quality system Maintain a flexible attitude and approach to changing requirements and priorities Using agreed measures, monitor and report on existing processes, indicating the need for corrective action as required Support the Cell Leader in improving the performance and development of the team Establish and maintain close and effective working relationships with other members of the team Be aware of and ensure personal and team compliance with Health and Safety policy and procedures

What we are looking for in an Assembly Technician:

Education / Qualifications:

• A recognised relevant engineering qualification such as an apprenticeship, NVQ etc

• Will have held a similar role in a similar environment

Professional Skills/ Abilities:

• Good practical knowledge of skills such as mechanical assembly, electrical and electronic assembly, wiring looms, Electrical soldering, surface mount soldering and bench assemblies

• H&S Compliance

Personal Qualities:

• Constructively challenges

• Carries out tasks with minimal supervision

• Takes ownership of the process and improvements

• Positive & professional attitude to work and OI

• Drives a quality culture
