As a QEC Researcher (Algorithms) at Riverlane, you will work on the cutting edge of quantum error correction, focusing on the development and optimization of quantum algorithms for fault-tolerant quantum computers. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mathematicians, physicists, and chemists, and contribute to academic research through publications and conference participation.
This role involves building, maintaining, and upgrading a trapped ion quantum computer at RIKEN’s Wako campus. The researcher will work in a small team to evaluate the performance of the quantum computer, develop improvement plans, and apply experimental research to design and implement quantum computers using trapped ions. Collaboration with engineers and scientists to develop and test new concepts is also a key responsibility.
As a Senior Quantum Engineer, you will develop and execute experiments on silicon-based quantum computing systems, focusing on ultra-low-power microwave qubit control and readout electronics. You will work closely with a world-leading team of quantum engineers and researchers, contributing to the design, validation, and operation of quantum processors based on silicon technology.
