Job Description: I'm currently working with a cutting edge player in the quantum computing space that is looking to expand its commercial footprint. They're seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead strategic growth across the UK, targeting enterprise clients, research institutions, and tech-forward partners.
This is a high-impact role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-evolving, deep-tech environment and has a proven track record of selling complex software or platform solutions, ideally in the high-performance computing, advanced technologies, or emerging tech sectors.
Role Highlights:
Lead regional sales strategy, pipeline development, and deal execution
Engage with senior stakeholders across industry and academia to drive adoption
Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to align customer needs with roadmap
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and key partner meetings
Navigate longer enterprise sales cycles with a strategic, consultative approach
Ideal Background:
5+ years in enterprise software sales, including 3+ years in a leadership or regional role
Deep familiarity with consultative sales processes and complex deal structures
Experience in advanced technologies (quantum computing, HPC, AI/ML, or similar) is highly preferred
Strong network in tech, government, or research sectors within your region
