Graduate Applications Engineer, Physics

Do you have strong academics and a Physics based degree? A company working on highly complex physics based software are looking for a Graduate Applications Engineer to join them. You will be working with topics such as semiconductors device physics and photonics. The Graduate Applications Engineer will join a small team of software developers and physicists, working closely with customers to help solve their Physics design problems.

This position does not require any previous commercial experience - if you have a 2:1 degree or above in Physics from a top university and are a confident communicator then apply now! 

You will be given extensive training, not only on the variety of products but about the techniques used in photonics and the physical mechanisms they are based on. This companies’ products are used worldwide and are at the forefront of the photonics research community.

Application Engineers will also have the opportunity to complete work in other areas such as software development using Python or Matlab, so the nature of the role will allow candidates to be versatile with both their work and their skills.
