Job Description

QED Legal's leading international law firm client, committed to delivering high-quality legal work without overburdening its solicitors, is looking for an experienced transactional construction solicitor (6+ PQE) to join its growing team in Edinburgh.

This is an opportunity to work on major real estate, infrastructure, and energy projects across Scotland while benefiting from a firm that prioritises manageable caseloads and a healthy work-life balance.

The role involves advising developers, contractors, funders, and public sector clients on JCT, NEC, and FIDIC contracts, as well as bespoke agreements, collateral warranties, bonds, and guarantees. A solid understanding of procurement law, risk allocation, and the commercial realities of construction projects is essential.
