This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate in Physics, Optics, or Photonics to transition into a technical sales role with a global leader in the scientific manufacturing industry. This Technical Sales Engineer position would suit a recent graduate looking for a launch pad to kick start their career and is happy with regular travel both in the UK and internationally!

As a Technical Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key accounts, and driving sales growth across the UK and Europe. You’ll lead sales campaigns, manage high-potential customers, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver bespoke solutions.

  • Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • A proactive and strategic mindset with the ability to identify new markets
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the UK and Europe
