Machine Learning Scientists and Engineers: AI for Quantum

Laboratory Technician (Sensor testing laboratory)

Description

Arqit is a global cybersecurity company delivering world-leading encryption solutions to secure data and communications for enterprises, governments, defence, and critical national infrastructure (CNI). Powered by advanced symmetric key cryptography, the Arqit SKA-Platform™ offers scalable dynamic encryption that meets modern industry standards and is resilient to future threats, such as those posed by quantum computers. The platform allows devices to seamlessly generate and share secure symmetric encryption keys, reducing the vulnerabilities associated with public key infrastructure (PKI) while operating with zero-trust principles.

Stronger, simpler encryption.

Quantum Computing Jobs Salary Calculator 2025: Work Out Your True Worth in Seconds

Why yesterday’s pay survey is meaningless in today’s quantum landscape Ask a Quantum Software Engineer debugging Qiskit kernels at midnight, a Cryogenic Hardware Engineer coaxing qubits below 10 mK, or a Quantum Algorithm Researcher squeezing decoherence budgets: “Am I earning what I deserve?” The honest answer shifts faster than a Rabi oscillation. Since early 2024, the UK Government funded £2.5 billion across its National Quantum Strategy, Amazon Braket and Azure Quantum slashed circuit prices, & post‑quantum cryptography mandates yanked quantum literacy into cyber road‑maps. Each shock nudges salary bands. Any PDF salary guide printed last year looks like an outdated calibration curve—blind to the silicon spin‑qubit breakthroughs in Cambridge, the Oxford ion‑trap scale‑ups, or the London quantum‑software unicorn that closed a £200 million Series C. To swap guesswork for evidence, QuantumComputingJobs.co.uk has distilled a transparent, three‑factor formula. Feed in your discipline, region, & seniority & you’ll instantly see a realistic 2025 salary benchmark—no stale averages, no vague “competitive” claims. This article unpacks that formula, highlights the forces pushing quantum‑computing pay skywards, & gives five practical moves to lift your market value inside ninety days.

How to Present Quantum Computing Solutions to Non-Technical Audiences: A Public Speaking Guide for Job Seekers

Quantum computing is one of the most advanced, promising—and misunderstood—fields in technology. While the science behind quantum algorithms, qubits, and entanglement is complex, your ability to explain it clearly is becoming a core skill for anyone pursuing a job in the sector. Whether you're applying for a quantum software developer role, a research position, or a client-facing solution engineer post, many UK employers now assess your ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences—especially funders, executives, policy-makers, and clients. This guide will help you structure your presentations, simplify quantum concepts, use effective visuals, and deliver with confidence. Because in quantum computing, how you communicate is just as important as what you compute.

Quantum Computing Jobs UK 2025: 50 Companies Hiring Now

Bookmark this page—we refresh the Hotlist every quarter so you always know who’s really scaling their quantum‑tech teams. The UK’s £2.5 billion National Quantum Strategy is in full swing, six regional hubs opened new testbeds this spring, and corporate pilots jumped from “proof‑of‑concept” to “production prototype”. Result? Employers are scrambling for quantum‑hardware physicists, cryo‑electronics engineers, quantum‑algorithm developers, error‑correction researchers, product managers & technical sales talent right now. Below you’ll find 50 organisations that advertised UK‑based quantum‑computing vacancies or announced head‑count growth during the past eight weeks. They’re grouped into five quick‑scan categories so you can jump straight to the kind of employer—& mission—that excites you.
