So, if you are an experienced lawyer with a passion for complex and large loss claims, this could be the perfect next role for you!

What will you be doing?

You will assist on pre and post litigation claims involving large loss with high value personal injury cases valued over £3m, including indemnity disputes, liability and quantum. For the right candidate, there will also be the opportunity to manage their own large loss cases in due course. The team specialises in representing major insurance clients in large loss claims, including complex orthopaedic injuries, chronic pain, brain injuries and amputations predominantly following motor accidents.

Your role will be extremely varied; one day you’ll be drafting legal advice and client consultations, the next investigation and evidence gathering, through to preparing court documents and court representation (where appropriate).

To ensure that our clients are confident that their claims are dealt with in a professional and competent manner, you will develop good client relationships from the outset by providing clear, practical advice and ongoing support and communication throughout the entire process.

What do I need?

Ideally, we are looking to hear from Legal Executives (CILEX) or Qualified Solicitors with at least 2 years’ experience in large loss claims. You will be well versed in managing or assisting on a litigated caseload of PI and high value multi-track claims.

You will need to be technically strong as well as having effective communication, proven negotiation skills, and a commercial mindset.

Whilst we do offer hybrid, flexible working, you will be required to work from our office in Cardiff for 2 days per week. You will then be able to work from home, if you choose to, for the remainder of the week.
