Solicitor - Newly Qualified (Hybrid) We're working with a prestigious law firm to recruit a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join their specialist Insurance Defence Litigation team. This is an incredible opportunity to work on high-value cases, collaborate with top-tier legal professionals, and make a real impact on the firm's commercial success-all while honing your expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a relevant caseload. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with a team of Solicitors to progress matters, including discovery, quantum evidence analysis, liaising with counsel and third-party experts, trial preparation, and legal research. Build and develop your own caseload while proactively identifying next steps and liaising with the Lead solicitor to take agreed actions. Conduct witness interviews, draft statements, and prepare pleadings and applications. Coordinate with all parties involved in claims, including insurers, the insured, and witnesses. Instruct counsel and attend conferences, mediations, and Joint Settlement Meetings (JSMs), both remotely and in person. Represent clients in court, attend trials, and settlement conferences as required. Meet performance targets and uphold quality standards. Maintain up-to-date case management systems for client reporting. Ensure compliance with LSNI regulations.
