Job Title: Project Engineer Sectors: Chemical / Petrochemical / Oil & Gas / Manufacturing / Process Plant / Air Separation / Cryogenics Location: Leeds, UK Employment Type: PermanentAbout the Opportunity: We are recruiting experienced Project Engineers to join a leading engineering organisation on a permanent basis, following the award of several new and exciting projects.This position plays a key role in the end-to-end delivery of engineering projects, from concept through to benefits realisation. Typical project values range between £100k and £3M, and include both internal investments and third-party client work across the UK and Ireland.Working closely with senior project managers and a multi-disciplinary engineering team, you will support the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of projects across a range of process and energy-related sectors.Key Responsibilities:Lead the execution of engineering projects from feasibility to delivery.Support in the development of feasibility studies, cost estimates, and technical proposals.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and delivery throughout the project lifecycle.Ensure all project activities adhere to safety, health, environmental and quality (SHEQ) standards.Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, ensuring smooth coordination between internal and external teams.Required Qualifications and Experience:Degree, HNC or HND in an engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Process, or Electrical.A minimum of 5 years practical industrial experience is recommended for this senior-level role.Demonstrated experience in delivering engineering projects on time, within budget, and to appropriate standards.Strong understanding of SHEQ principles within an industrial project environment.Must have the right to work in the UK.Diversity & Inclusion: We are committed to building an inclusive and respectful work environment where all individuals feel valued, supported, and empowered.
