In this role, you will be responsible for the tactical and strategic handling of complex credit hire claims, carrying out in-depth investigations on files submitted by specific opponents. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your experience in the credit hire field and contribute to reducing overall insurer spend.Key Responsibilities:Independently manage a caseload of pre-litigated credit hire claims (up to £25,000 in value)Follow pre-agreed strategies and maintain compliance with internal workflowsEngage in telephone negotiations with third parties and solicitorsReview and analyse evidence, assessing the liability and quantum of claimsLiaise with clients and colleagues in a professional and efficient mannerMaintain accurate and up-to-date file records using a Case Management SystemWorking Hours:Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (1 hour unpaid lunch)35 hours per weekHybrid model - 1 day in-office, 4 days from homeWhat We're Looking For:Experience, Skills & Qualifications:Experience handling Credit Hire files and managing your own caseloadMinimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) - a degree or LPC is desirableStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent planning, prioritisation and organisational abilityProficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook and ideally, experience using a Case Management SystemAbility to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisionsDemonstrated use of initiative and tact in sensitive situationsAt least 12 months' experience in a credit hire environment is essentialTechnical Knowledge To Be Developed:Pre-proceedings credit hire knowledgeFull file lifecycle managementCommon law and litigation principlesUnderstanding of legal costs and protective offersPreparing a file for litigationPersonal Development Opportunities:Develop a range of legal and negotiation skills under supervisionFuture progression into litigated fast-track, fraud, or multi-track teamsLeadership development pathways including Deputy and Team Leader rolesCore Competencies:Effective communicationOrganisation and time managementClient relationship skillsAdaptability and resilienceCommercial awarenessDrive to achieve resultsTeam collaboration and people skillsIf you're ready to take the next step in your career and make a real impact in the credit hire space, Time Recruitment would love to hear from you
