Personal Injury Solicitor

An established and reputable law firm based in Runcorn is seeking a qualified Solicitor to join its Fast Track Personal Injury team. The successful candidate will manage both pre- and post-litigated files and will work under the guidance of the Fast Track Department Manager. Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of Fast Track Personal Injury matters from inception through to resolution

Handle all aspects of litigation confidently and competently

*

Draft a range of legal documents including court proceedings, applications, witness statements, and Part 35 questions

*

Conduct straightforward court hearings where necessary

*

Progress cases efficiently for the benefit of both the client and the firm

*

Accurately assess quantum and evaluate financial losses/special damages

*

Conduct thorough risk assessments of cases, particularly in relation to liability and causation

*

Engage in effective negotiation to secure the best outcomes for clients

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Proven experience managing a caseload of Fast Track Personal Injury claims

*

Strong knowledge of the MOJ Portal

*

Familiarity with claims management systems, ideally Proclaim

*

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team

*

Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines and targets
