An established UK law firm with expertise in insurance claims is currently recruiting a Personal Injury Solicitor for its expanding Glasgow team. You will be responsible for advising on Motor Injury, Fraud, and Credit Hire cases, while assisting the Partner with the team’s daily operations and high-value cases.

The successful candidate will be at the NQ to 2 years’ PQE and be passionate about delivering high-quality legal services. Experience in litigation is essential, and the team is open to candidates from different litigation backgrounds. Key responsibilities include conducting forensic analyses of documents, assessing liability and quantum, drafting legal advice, and representing the firm in court. This leading law firm specialising in personal injury is currently recruiting for an experienced litigator or Solicitor Advocate to join its busy practice in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. The position centres on enhancing the firm’s Advocacy Unit by supporting all aspects of litigation, from initial opinion to proof appearance, offering a comprehensive and tailored client experience.

The successful candidate will either be an experienced Solicitor Advocate or a Solicitor aspiring to develop their litigation skills and must have at least 5 years’ PQE level. This advocacy-focused role is exclusively dedicated to courtroom work without case holding responsibilities. Candidates should have strong experience in all aspects of personal injury law, demonstrating strong oral and written advocacy skills, and the ability to conduct consultations, negotiations, and excellent drafting skills.

This is a full-time position with a firm that supports work-life balance, requiring a minimum commitment of two days per week in one of the firm’s Scottish offices.

Personal Injury Solicitor – Edinburgh/Glasgow (Assignment 16809)

This growing litigation firm is currently recruiting a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join its thriving practice in both Edinburgh and Glasgow, with vacancies available in each office due to expansion. The positions focus on managing public liability, RTA, and employer liability claims as part of a specialist accident claim service.

The successful candidates will be responsible for maximising income per case by recovering damages, including hire, repairs, recovery, and storage. Applicants must be newly admitted solicitors in Scotland, with court litigation experience and a thorough understanding of Court of Session and Sheriff Court procedures. An understanding of credit hire would be beneficial. The role requires in-depth drafting experience, the ability to conduct hearings in the Sheriff Courts, and strong communication skills to effectively handle and advise difficult clients. 2nd year trainee solicitors looking to assign are also invited to apply.

This specialist law firm is currently recruiting a Senior Solicitor to join its busy Personal Injury Team based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. This firm specialises in accident claims and has saw substantial growth over the past year and is continuing to expand.

The successful candidate will handle their own diverse caseload of complex and high value cases including RTA, EL/PL and vehicle and hire claims. Key tasks will involve:

• Supervising a team of solicitors managing RTA, EL/PL, injury, vehicle damage, and hire claims.
• Overseeing complex and high-value cases.
• Ensuring adherence to Scottish civil litigation rules and pre-action protocols.
• Providing expertise on liability, causation, and quantum assessments.
• Negotiating settlements with insurers and opposing solicitors.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years’ PQE with a strong litigation background, as well as a good understanding of Court of Session and Sheriff Court procedures. Previous experience of credit hire is also desirable.

Personal Injury Solicitors – Glasgow (Assignment 16645)

This award-winning Law Firm is currently recruiting for a Personal Injury Lawyer to join its leading Personal Injury Team, one of the largest in Scotland. You will become part of a talented team covering various personal injury claims, including RTA, public liability, employer liability, and medical negligence claims.

The ideal candidate for this position will be between NQ-6 years’ PQE. The successful candidate can expect to manage their own caseload, involving both litigated and non-litigated matters. Regular court appearances throughout Scotland and the Court of Session are also expected, and previous experience handling complex cases would be beneficial.

Solicitor (General Accident Team) – Edinburgh/Glasgow (Assignment 16319)

Our client, a specialist litigation firm, is seeking additional lawyers to join its busy Accident team. The positions include a diverse range of responsibilities, such as managing EL/PL/OL/CICA claims, handling ASPIC, Court of Session, and Sheriff Court cases, and conducting liability investigations.

The firm is keen to hear from applications across all levels of PQE from NQ level to senior level. Applicants should have experience in Employer, Occupiers, and Public Liability.
