Europe is one of the main growthmarkets for Edmund Optics globally, leading to a rapidly expandingand developing local team.To accelerate our success and growthwithin the European Market, Edmund Optics Ltd. is looking foraProduct Support Manager EMEA (f/m/d)Highly competent and skilled,the Product Support Manager EMEA is responsible for managing theProduct Support Team (the Sales & Applications Engineers) withthe aim to maximize the level of service offered to Edmund Opticscustomers regarding products and applications. Responsibilitiesinclude team structuring for operational effectiveness, day to dayteam management, increasing regional customer satisfaction fortechnical and applications support activities.EssentialFunctions:Manage and develop the Product Support Team with theobjective of customer satisfaction, revenue growth, highproductivity and individual accountabilityEfficiently scheduleSales & Applications Engineers (Product to provide adequatephone, email, and chat coverageAssist the Product Support Team withcomplex technical inquiries as needed, involve Solutions Engineersfor technical issues and Regional Sales Managers when significantnew opportunities are identifiedWork towards continuous improvementof sales process and customers journey with Edmund Optics, develop,promote, and execute a long-term strategy for continuousimprovementDefine and track key performance indicators (KPIs) andreport them to the appropriate stakeholdersParticipate intradeshows and conferencesInterface with marketing to providecustomer feedback and identify customer support needs to ensure EOsservice leadershipQualifications:The requirements listed below arerepresentative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals withdisabilities to perform the essential functions.Your profile:Degreein engineering, physics, mathematics, or hard scienceMinimum ofthree (3) years experience in technical sales and/or productsupportProficiency in key optical engineering and physicsconcepts/optics industry experience preferredKnowledge of companyproducts, applications, capabilities and sourcingpossibilitiesKnowledgeable about sales and support processesProvenleadership ability to manage people, build highly effective,diverse teams and create positive working atmosphereFluent inEnglish, additional language skills preferredStrong organizationskillsAble to identify key objectives, set goals, and executeplansExcellent communication and presentation skills, both writtenand verbalTravel willingness (occasional visits of tradeshows andother Edmund Optics sites)What we offer:A versatile and challengingposition alongside a highly competitive employment package withinour dynamic and successful corporation in a growing andfuture-proof industry.
