New Product Engineer (£45,000 to £65,000 basicplus excellent benefits) 

Siemens Healthineers has afantastic opportunity for an experienced NPI Engineer to join our innovativeprocess engineering team at Eynsham. This full-time engineering role is basedin Eynsham, Oxfordshire, and offers an attractive salary.

As an NPI Engineer, you will be responsible for designfor manufacture and design transfer to manufacture of products and processesfor our superconducting magnets.

In your first few weeks in this New ProductIntroduction Engineer role, you can expect to:

·Influence product design to improve DFA (designfor assembly) and optimise labour content

·Design manufacturing processes from concept toproduction ensuring parts and materials are fit for both purpose and efficientmanufacture with high yield

·Develop and implement new processes andmanufacturing equipment to enable our new product and continuous improvementagendas

·Work closely with Product Lifecycle Management(PLM) to ensure final product designs are suitable for volume manufacture

·Implement robust feedback mechanisms betweendepartments, and communicate lessons learnt once products are in production

To apply for this NPI Engineer role, your soft skills,expertise and experience should include:

·A degree in Engineering, Science, manufacturing(or a related subject) or equivalent experience

·Substantial and varied technical experience inmanufacturing and process engineering

·Experience in taking the lead on NPI projects
