Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer ready to step into a Project Engineer role within a growing company, where you'll be pivotal in the entire process of delivering exciting Aerospace and Defence projects from conception to completion, and offered complete training?

In this role, you'll lead a small team of engineers, working on bespoke composite component projects from concept to completion. You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of each phase, from briefing through to reporting and design.

This is an innovative company at the forefront of advanced composite manufacturing. Established in 2010, they specialise in design-for-manufacture tooling and precision composite components for the Aerospace, Defence, Medical, and Cryogenics sectors. With plans to double turnover within 3 - 5 years, they are set for an exciting future.

This would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer from an Aerospace, Automotive or Nautical background looking to develop into a Project Engineer, looking to continuously progress your career and gain the recognition and responsibility of managing major projects.

The Role:

Manage the design and development of bespoke composite components, mould tools, fixtures and jigs
Control documentation, policy and supplier quotes and ensure quality
Support the production team of 3 - 4 engineers
Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:00pm, Friday 7:00 - 1:00pm (40 hours)The Person:
