Overview: We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Calibration and Repair Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the calibration, and repair of a wide range of mechanical equipment. This role is important to ensure the precision and reliability of our customers' instruments and machinery, supporting our commitment to quality and operational excellence. Responsibilities Calibration: Perform precise calibration of mechanical instruments and equipment according to industry standards and manufacturer specifications. Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems and components. Conduct routine maintenance to prevent equipment failures. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of calibration, maintenance, and repair activities. Prepare reports and calibration certificates as required. Quality Assurance: Ensure all equipment meets required accuracy standards and comply with relevant regulations. Implement and follow quality control procedures. Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance calibration and repair processes. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field. Relevant certifications in calibration and repair are advantageous. Experience: Experience in mechanical calibration, maintenance, and repair. Experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment is preferred. Technical Skills: Proficient in using calibration tools and software. Understanding of mechanical systems, components, and measurement principles. Problem-Solving: Good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to shared goals. Physical Requirements: Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and moving equipment, standing for extended periods, and working in various environments. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications: Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) or similar qualifications. Industry Knowledge: Experience in sectors such as aerospace, automotive, pharmaceuticals, or other precision-driven industries.
