Manufacturing EngineerA rapidly expanding, global business, at the forefront of fibre optic and photonic technology is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer.You will be joining a dynamic team, driving process optimisation, efficiency improvements, and seamless product transitions from NPI to full-scale production.This role is ideal for a proactive engineer with strong technical expertise in manufacturing processes, continuous improvement (CI), and cost of poor quality (CoPQ) reduction. You will play a key role in enhancing production yields, cycle times, and root cause analysis while ensuring compliance with industry standards.Responsibilities will include:Act as the subject matter expert for fibre optic, photonic, and modular system manufacturingAnalyse and optimise production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain high product qualityCollaborate cross-functionally with quality, design engineering, operations, and product management teams to ensure seamless execution of NPI/NPD projectsDiagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process-related production issuesMonitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), driving cycle time reductions, yield improvements, and waste reduction in line with CoPQ targetsEnsure manufacturing processes meet safety, regulatory, and quality assurance standards while maintaining accurate records and documentationChampion LEAN, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives across t...
