The Role
We have an opportunity for an experienced Loss Adjuster/Surveyor with experienced in Latent Defect claims.
This is a technical role with some operational and management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
This role is for a Loss Adjuster/Surveyor to investigate, manage and report on a caseload of Structural Warranty claims. The type of caseload shall vary according to business needs, but current work is predominantly “cradle to grave” requiring management of all aspects of claims, including liaising with clients/brokers/policyholders, policyliability investigations and quantum negotiations including management of contractors and suppliers. This is a fee earning role with associated targets. The type of work is highly varied, including commercial property, structural warranty, subsidence and household across a range of different risks. To assist, with the help of others, in the development and improvement of the professional services undertaken by Charles Taylor adjusting, which will involve working closely with the Directors of the Property & Casualty Team in all aspects of the role To assist in and develop the effective marketing of Charles Taylor adjusting including: - Developing working relationships with existing Clients; Helping to identify and plan approaches to new Clients; Assist others with their marketing functions; Assisting in the preparation and delivery of presentations to Clients Hosting and attending social events;Person Specification
We are looking for an experienced Surveyor who, ideally, has experience within the insurance claims arena. Experience of Structural Warranty claims is highly desirable, and experience of Subsidence claims desirable. We would also prefer at least some experience of General Property claims Professional Insurance / Loss Adjusting / Surveying qualifications are desirable, but not essential.
