Inspection Engineer – Compressed air systems (Engineer Surveyor)

Location Home / Field based – covering UK Wide

Engineer needs to be based fairly centrally in UK with reasonable motorway access / connections eg Birmingham, Manchester, Leicester, Milton Keynes, Oxford, Yorkshire, Worcester, Gloucester

Salary £40,500 – 49,500 + van + fuel card, expenses, allowances + pension + holidays + training

Hours Monday – Friday - Day time. You will be away from home 3 nights per week on average

The Job:

  • Working in a small and friendly team with good support and training.

  • Varied national and regional work planned 4 – 6 weeks in advance.

  • Visit diverse range of customers to provide surveys and examinations of compressed air and mixed gas machinery & equipment.

  • Isolate, examine / survey, test and recommission machinery for customers (but not service and repair).

    The Person:

  • Experienced in maintenance or servicing compressed air machinery.

  • Able to work away 3 or 4 nights per week, you will be away from home 3 nights per week on average but all work will be planned 4 – 6 weeks in advance and all hotels booked and meals / expenses covered on a charge card.

  • Health & safety focused, friendly, proactive, good communication, desire to learn and improve – through training is provided.
