The growing company is passionate about ensuring every team member is valued and given the opportunity to progress within the business.Multi-Skilled CNC Machinist RoleReporting to the Manufacturing Manager, as a Multi-Skilled CNC machinist you’ll be working as part of a team of engineers dedicated to producing the best quality high precision products. You’ll be responsible for the programming, setting and operation of various conventional and CNC Machine tools including manual and semi-CNC lathes, CNC milling machines and inspection equipment. You’ll be working with a variety of materials, primarily with stainless steel producing vacuum components and fabrications.You will be expected to work in a safe manner and take responsibility for your own health and safety.Desirable Skills and Qualifications * Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled CNC Machinist, with a time served recognised apprenticeship and qualified to HND or higher preferred. * Skilled on both manual and CNC lathes and mills. * Knowledge of MAZAK Mazatrol system * Knowledge of CAD would be an advantage. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to plan the job. * Strong organisational skills. * Excellent communication skills with ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.Although not essential, vacuum knowledge, tig welding experience and experience of stress analysis and report writing would be highly advantageous for this role.Multi-Skilled CNC machinist, salary band £35,000 - £40,000 with the level dependent on skills and responsibility.On occasion where overtime is required, this will be paid in addition to your salary.Other benefits include 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, pension scheme, death in service cover, free car parking, compressed working week.You’ll be employed on a permanent contract, working 39 hours per weekMonday to Thursday 6:15am to 4.30pm (4-day compressed week)Location: Bala Enterprise Park (Gwynedd, North Wales)
