We are currently recruiting for aClinical Negligence Solicitorfor either our Liverpool or Bolton office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ambitious and passionate about the work they do, the service they provide and getting the best results for their clients.

You’ll provide high quality legal advice to the firm’s clients managing your own caseload from the start with appropriate supervision and training. Your aim will be to successfully navigate liability disputes, quantify damages, secure interim payments whenever possible, enabling us to arrange rehabilitation, care packages, and suitable accommodation before the claim is finalised.

Our team is dedicated to winning cases and in doing so enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

About You

  • Newly Qualified – 10 yrs PQE with a Medical Negligence background
  • Highly organised
  • Motivated
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently to deadlines
  • Ability to work in a supportive yet pressurised environment
  • The ability to drive files and obtain the best results for clients and the Firm
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and customer service skills

Responsibilities to include:

  • Obtain instructions and investigate liability and quantum
  • Attend conferences, meetings and Court hearings where appropriate
  • Undertake progress and supervisory reviews
  • Pervasively assess litigation risk
  • Quantify claims from an early stage and draft schedules of loss
  • Liaise with clients in correspondence, on the telephone and in person to provide updates on progress and to provide such advice and support in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the firm’s standards for client care
  • Negotiating with third parties and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcome for the client
  • Ensure the confidentiality of all of the firm’s and customer’s documentation and information
