Job Title: Catastrophic & Complex Injury Fee Earner/Solicitor (2+ years PQE)

Location: Liverpool (Minimum 2 days per week in office)

Salary: Up to £65,000 (Depending on previous Large Loss experience)

We are working with a leading and highly regarded law firm with a dynamic, large, and complex injury team, looking to recruit an experienced Catastrophic & Complex Injury Fee Earner/Solicitor. The firm is known for its expertise in handling large loss claims and provides representation to major insurance clients across the UK. Role Overview:

The successful candidate will manage a caseload of pre- and post-litigation claims involving large loss and high-value RTA cases exceeding £250k. You will play a key role in handling cases involving serious injuries such as complex orthopaedic injuries, chronic pain, brain injuries, and amputations, predominantly resulting from motor accidents. The role will involve managing indemnity disputes, liability, and quantum issues, with the opportunity to work alongside a talented and experienced team of solicitors and legal professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of high-value catastrophic injury claims, including complex liability, indemnity, and quantum issues, with a focus on RTA cases exceeding £250k.
Provide expert legal advice to major insurance clients and assist in achieving the best outcomes for complex injury claims.
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, letters of instruction, and settlement agreements, and represent clients at hearings.
Work with expert witnesses in a variety of fields, including orthopaedic, neurological, and psychological specialties.
Conduct in-depth case analysis, ensuring all potential legal avenues are explored and the best strategies are employed.
Assist in developing and mentoring junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance working environment.
Ensure all claims are managed in accordance with compliance requirements, deadlines, and client expectations.

Essential Skills & Experience:

A minimum of 2 years PQE (or equivalent), with proven experience in handling large loss and complex personal injury claims.
Expertise in dealing with high-value RTA cases (typically £250k+), including complex liability and quantum disputes.
Strong knowledge of catastrophic injury claims, particularly those involving serious orthopaedic injuries, brain injuries, chronic pain, and amputations.
Ability to manage a caseload effectively while maintaining a high standard of client service and attention to detail.
Strong negotiation and advocacy skills with the ability to handle sensitive client matters with empathy and professionalism.
A proactive, results-driven approach with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Desirable Skills:

Experience working with major insurance clients and understanding their needs in large loss claims.
Knowledge of motor accident claims and the associated legal framework.
