Quantum Applications Team Lead required to join a growing quantum computing company. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of physicists and software developers, managing complex projects and developing tools that support quantum computing research worldwide. This role is ideal for a technically skilled leader with experience in Python, team management, and a passion for advancing quantum technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary team of physicists and software engineers.
• Oversee complex software development projects in quantum control, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Work closely with R&D, Product, and Customer Success teams to align development priorities and deliver impactful solutions.
• Collaborate directly with advanced customers to understand their needs and translate them into practical tools and applications.
• Apply strong Python skills and modern software engineering practices to develop robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
  
  

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience leading software development teams and managing complex technical projects.
• Strong programming background, particularly in Python, and familiarity with collaborative software engineering practices
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Passion for advancing quantum technologies and translating research into practical applications.
