This client is one of the market leaders in cutting-edge optoelectronic devices for the next generation of optical communications networks.

They are looking for an experienced engineer to join their team of experts, providing a key influence in the development and research of III-V optical chip components. This team focuses on the design, development, and mass production of advanced and novel III-V photonic devices. You would be key in driving innovative ideas from research phases to New Product Introduction, through to mass production.

There is much scope to this role, including contributing to the technical roadmaps, bringing valuable industry insights, analyzing market trends, and defining technical specifications of photonic devices.

Naturally, close collaboration with various global business units and customers to identify their needs and develop cutting-edge solutions will be needed to meet these requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the design and development of Photonic Integrated Circuits and discrete active photonic III-V components.
