6-month Fixed Term Contract | On-Site @ Harwell Campus, Oxfordshire | £28,000 - £48,000 | Start ASAP

Quantum Detectors is entering a key period of operational transformation, and we are seeking a hands-on, detail-focused Project Manager to take ownership of our production project portfolio. This fixed-term role requires someone who is a fast learner, capable of hitting the ground running and making a visible impact from day one.

Working closely with the Operations Manager & Production team you will ensure a smooth transition of sales orders into production, robust project governance, clear communication, and the timely delivery of customer orders. This role is fully on site, embedded in our production facility, and demands enthusiasm, pace, and uncompromising attention to detail.

What You’ll Do

Manage customer detector system projects from order acceptance to dispatch.
Keep loan/demo and repair projects moving smoothly with clear communication.
Run project kick-off meetings and keep everyone aligned.
Maintain plans, schedules, and trackers in JIRA.
Track components, hardware builds, and third-party items to prevent delays.
Provide accurate project updates and documentation.
Support procurement, logistics, and HMRC Inward Processing reporting.
What you'll bring

Essential:

Strong project management experience (waterfall preferred).
Confident using JIRA, an Atlassian product.
Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management.
Highly organised, accurate, and detail-focused.
Able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Positive, proactive, calm under pressure, and great with people.
Happy to be fully on site at our production facility.
Desirable:

BigGantt, Confluence, Mac OS, or Google Workspace experience.
Manufacturing/MRP/BOM experience.
Exposure to POs, invoices, or Incoterms 2020.
What we offer

£28,000 - £48,000 (depending on experience)
30 days holiday + public holidays (full time equivalent) - this will be pro-rata for the duration of your fixed term contract
