Diales UK are seeking to recruit an experienced Quantum professional to join our growing team in Glasgow, Scotland.

Key duties will include:

  1. Detailed analysis of documents relating to costing, claims, and any other relevant information required to analyse information provided on major disputes.
  2. Preparation of claims and/or defence documents to litigation/arbitration standard.
  3. Support delivery of commission services in line with client briefs.
  4. Actively contribute to marketing and business development of the full range of the company’s services across a wide client base.
  5. Assist with the preparation of expert reports for formal dispute resolution proceedings.

Experience and knowledge required:

  1. 15 years’ experience in the building or civil engineering industry.
  2. Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or other, related discipline.
  3. Ideally hold a relevant post-graduate qualification such as MSc in Construction Law and/or a professional qualification.
  4. Experience in preparing and defending claims.
  5. Previous exposure to dispute resolution, for example, adjudication and/or mediation.
  6. Experience in assisting quantum experts.
  7. Experience of business development, marketing, networking, etc.
  8. Willingness to travel in the UK and overseas to suit client requirements.
