An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join my client who is at the forefront of photonics technologies in Europe, UK and USA.

This newly created role will see you manage and develop my client’s Sales function, both on a daily and strategic level.

Drawing on your background in Technology Sales, and Strategic Management, you will work closely with the internal teams to develop and execute sales plans that expand market share and strengthen customer relationships.

Reporting to, and working closely with the Group CEO, you will develop and implement growth strategies

Experience and Qualifications:

We are looking for an experienced Sales Leader, with strong leadership and coaching skills, and a passion for developing talent.

As the successful VP Sales, you will have 10 or more years of B2B / B2G sales experience in technology solutions, plus at least 5 years in leadership roles.

Preference will be given to those who have experience in winning US, UK or European Defence and or Government funded development programs with R&D in an optics setting.

A Batchelors Degree or higher in Optics or a related discipline is essential.

A second language – German, French, Spanish or Chinese is preferred.

Additional Information:

Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK. Copies of Passports and Visas will be requested for verification.

The requirement for regular travel throughout the UK / Europe and occasionally US, means it is essential you hold a Full clean UK driving licence and own transport.

Salary / benefits: Competitive Salary, plus bonus and benefits.
