We are seeking aTest and Validation Physicist - Architecturein ourBroomfield, COLocation.

All applicants for placement in safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with a team of research scientists to develop new sub-systems compatible cryogenic and ultra-high vacuum operation.
  • Assemble and operate cryogenic and vacuum test apparatus
  • Analyze performance and reliability of electronic, vacuum, cryogenic, and optical sub-systems
  • Provide day-to-day support to AMO lab operations

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree minimum
  • Minimum 2 years direct hands-on laboratory experience building, maintaining, trouble-shooting and operating electronic systems, complex optical systems and/or vacuum/ cryogenic systems.
  • Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person. defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status
  • Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.

  • Experience in performing system audits to ensure intended system functionality, operation and performance requirements are achieved.
