With over 50 years of industry experience, my client is a leader in advanced solutions for tomorrow’s technologies. The company’s portfolio spans interconnect, sensors, communications, photonics, imaging, magnetic components, power supplies, and embedded computing.


Responsibilities

As the Technical Sales Manager (Photonics & Imaging), you are responsible for managing key imaging customers and a field sales team covering both the imaging and photonics markets. Additionally, you will directly drive new business growth with high‑potential customers, instigate new design‑in opportunities, work with the Imaging Technology Centre to develop bespoke solutions, conduct negotiations up to closing orders and manage follow‑on sales, establish and maintain good relationships with existing and potential customers at all levels, develop your team, work on personal development plans, and develop and implement the P&I strategy to ensure long‑term profitable growth.


Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics)
  • Knowledge of imaging, optics, lasers, and spectroscopy equipment
  • Knowledge of the OEM camera market and customers, with a successful track record of selling specialist thermal imaging cameras and associated accessories into multiple market sectors (Military to Scientific) and familiarity with OEM and scientific sales cycles
  • Sales management experience
  • Customer and supplier relationship management experience
  • Valid driving licence

  • Salary up to £65,000 DOE
  • Fully remote role (Nationwide)
  • 15% commission and up to 20% for managers
