Role Overview

As aStores Inspector, you will play a key role in theday-to-day operations of a fast-paced aviation stores department, ensuring all materials and tools are received, inspected, and distributed efficiently. You will ensurecompliance with Part 145 regulationswhile supporting engineers and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with thedaily running of the Stores department
  • Issuetooling, consumables, and rotable aircraft partsto engineers
  • Process import and export customs paperworkfor aviation parts (training provided if required)
  • Communicate withcustomers and suppliersas needed
  • Raiserepair ordersfor aviation components
  • Receive and inspecta wide range of aircraft partsin accordance with company procedures andPart 145 regulations
  • Ensurecorrect handling and storage conditionsfor all aviation materials
  • Arrangedispatch of items via appropriate carriers, ensuring compliance withdangerous goods transport regulations
  • Conductinventory control, monitoringshelf-life itemsand tools due for calibration
  • Overseewaste disposal in line with company and environmental regulations
  • Maintain aclean, organised, and compliant work environment
  • Identifyoperational improvementsto enhanceproductivity and cost efficiency
  • Deliverhigh-quality service to internal and external customers
  • Operatecompany vehicleswhen required
  • Undertakeadditional duties as assigned by the management team

Required Skills & Experience

  • Computer literate (training provided for company systems)
  • Strongorganisational and communication skills
  • Minimumsix months of experience in the past two yearsholding company approval forgoods inwards inspectionin anaviation stores environment
  • Previous experience in abusy aviation stores departmentisessential
  • Knowledge ofgoods inwards processes and inspectionsin an aviation stores setting
  • Experience withQuantum or ProMRO softwareis desirable
  • Forklift licenceis an advantage (training provided if needed)
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
