We're looking for a Senior VAD Environment Artist to join our Production Team based in one of our European studios (London, Stuttgart or Frankfurt)or on a remote basis (must be physically located in Europe).

Responsibilities:

  • Create realistic environments in Unreal Engine.
  • Create realistic lighting and atmospheric effects
  • Create shaders for different asset purposes.
  • Create high and mid-poly environment models, foliage, and architecture.
  • Possess a strong understanding of texturing.
  • Ability to communicate ideas and iterate in a timely manner.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Experience in creating environments in Unreal Engine.
  • Exceptional understanding of lighting and composition.
  • Excellent knowledge of texturing and 3D software, Unreal Engine environment creation pipelines, and tools.
  • Task-driven and proactive with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated and flexible, with excellent communication skills.
  • Positive, solution-oriented individual and able to work without direct supervision.
  • Technically proficient, able to identify and collaborate on pipeline innovations.

Bonus:

  • Photogrammetry experience.
  • Knowledge of Substance Designer / Painter is a plus.
