Role Description

The Senior Test Technician will conduct detailed testing of optical components such as lasers, photodiodes, modulators, and amplifiers using advanced equipment like OTDRs and optical spectrum analyzers.
Responsibilities include performing fibre-optic tests, analyzing data for trends or issues, compiling reports, troubleshooting performance problems, and collaborating with R&D and manufacturing teams to optimize designs.Experience Needed

Proficiency with optical testing equipment and strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, data analysis software, and creating reports is required.
Desirable qualifications include fibre-optic certifications, knowledge of industry standards, and experience with automated testing systems.
