Requirements

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Talent Partner to play a central role in building, nurturing, and growing our talent base. Reporting to the Head of People and Workspace, this role is pivotal in implementing talent strategies for scaling our workforce across specialised areas such as Quantum Theory, Photonics, AMO Physics, Electronics, and Software. In addition to talent acquisition, you'll lead initiatives that align workforce planning with business needs, enhance employee development, and support our employer brand as an industry leader in advanced technology.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition and Workforce Strategy

  • Lead recruitment and workforce strategy efforts across cross-disciplinary teams in cutting-edge areas of technology.
  • Lead the development and implementation of inclusive hiring practices to attract and retain diverse talent aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Use market insights to craft long-term talent strategies that meet both immediate and future business needs.

Talent Development and Retention

  • Collaborate on succession planning and retention initiatives, focusing on continuous development and growth opportunities for employees.
  • Drive employer branding efforts and work in partnership with our Marketing team to position Nu Quantum as a top employer, ensuring a compelling candidate experience that reflects our mission and values.

International Recruitment & Compliance

  • Oversee global hiring efforts, ensuring compliance with international employment regulations and visa requirements.
  • Partner with the People Generalist to refine and streamline global hiring processes, building a foundation for sustained international growth.

Collaborate with Leadership and Stakeholders

  • Partner closely with hiring managers, department heads, and project teams to ensure talent needs align with business objectives and project requirements.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with top-tier candidates in niche fields, maintaining a pipeline for critical roles as Nu Quantum scales.

University Partnerships & Internship Program

  • Establish relationships with leading universities, creating an internship program to attract early-career talent and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of internship and graduate programs to support a sustainable pipeline of emerging talent.

Data-Driven Recruitment and Continuous Improvement

  • Use data analytics and recruitment metrics to identify trends, drive efficiencies, and improve candidate quality and retention.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance recruitment strategies based on data insights to optimise the hiring process and talent retention.

Team and Culture Development 

  • Mentor and support team members within the People function, cultivating best practices as Nu Quantum grows.
  • Contribute to HR operations, including diversity and inclusion projects, onboarding, performance management, and policy development to promote a positive employee experience.
