This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking insurance firm in Nottingham. Our client seeks to hire a dynamic and experienced Senior Property Claims Handler (Hybrid) in NottinghamKey ResponsibilitiesYou will lead and enhance our complex domestic and commercial property claims handling operations.You will be personally handling high-value large loss claims, ensuring robust validation of policy coverage, claim circumstances, and quantum, including accurately setting and managing reserves.Provide clients and customers with expert guidance on complex and technical claims issues whilst managing other stakeholders and supporting customers through claims process.Assess and mitigate risk on high value and complex claims, ensuring effective policy validation, scope and cost control, while delivering fair outcomes for customers.Liaise with insurers, brokers and other key stakeholders to deliver effective claims settlements in-line with policy coverage.Coach, train, and mentor office-based claims handlers and field-based surveyors, enhancing their technical knowledge and claims handling capabilities.Supervise and improve technical claims handling processes, ensuring that claims are managed effectively from start to finish.The RequirementsExtensive Preferred: Dip CII or Dip CILA or beyond. (Not mandatory)Experience in commercial and personal lines property claims handling, with a strong technical background in large loss and complex claims.Previous/current loss adjusting or field-based claims handling experience is a plus.The role involve traveling around the UK.Our client offers a competitive salary, bonus and benefits.
