Senior Photonics Design Engineer Required for SouthWest based companyOur client are at the forefront of photonicstechnology, providing cutting-edge solutions for aerospace,defence, life sciences, and industrial applications. Numbering over1000 people around the world with significant R&Dresponcibility across sites in the UK. We are seeking 2 PhotonicsDesign Engineers at Senior and Principal level. As part of ouroptics and fibre-optic R&D team, youll lead the development ofcutting-edge fibre-optic products for the industrial, aerospace& defence, and bio-photonics markets. This role offers diverseactivities, from initial product concepts to customerinteraction.Responsibilities:Design and develop world-leadingoptical and photonic components.Lead a team, setting objectives andappraisals.Involvement in prototype builds and testing.Supportdesign modifications and engineering changes.Qualifications:Degreein Engineering or Physics, PhD preferred.Experience infibre-optics, photonics, and optics.Problem-solving skills forcomplex technical challenges.Proficiency with design tools likeZemax Optics Studio.Please contact Andy @ASARUM for moreinformation
