YOUR ROLE
As Senior Operations Manager, you'll work directly with our CEO to scale the company rapidly and efficiently capitalise on the growth opportunity we have. You'll be the driving force behind our operational excellence and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

People Leadership & Development

  • Build, coach, and mentor high-performing teams of 15+ people across multiple functions
  • Design and lead comprehensive training programs to develop team capabilities and career paths
  • Drive talent acquisition strategy, including hiring plans, interview processes, and candidate assessment
  • Foster an inclusive culture focused on continuous learning and professional growth
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback for team development

Talent Management & Team Operations

  • Create and implement structured onboarding programs for new team members
  • Develop succession planning and leadership development initiatives
  • Lead regular 1:1s and team meetings to ensure alignment and engagement
  • Manage performance improvement plans and career development conversations
  • Build strong relationships across departments to enable team success

Strategic Team Planning

  • Design organizational structure and workforce planning strategies
  • Create development frameworks to support team growth and promotion paths
  • Establish team KPIs and professional development metrics
  • Manage departmental budget with focus on team development investments
  • Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives

Operational Excellence

  • Guide teams in process optimization and efficiency improvements
  • Oversee resource allocation and cross-functional collaboration
  • Ensure alignment between team goals and business objectives
  • Manage vendor relationships that support team development

Requirements

  • 3+ years of people management experience with proven success in building and scaling teams
  • Experience managing 10+ direct reports at a time
  • Strong track record in talent development, coaching, and performance management
  • Experience designing and implementing training programs and development frameworks
  • Excellence in hiring, onboarding, and retention strategies
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to build inclusive, high-performing cultures
  • Experience managing team budgets and resources effectively
  • Strategic thinking with focus on long-term team development

Benefits

  • OTE: £100,000 - £180,000
