Sales Engineer – CryogenicsLocation: Acton, London W3Salary: £Competitive DOE (£40k+) plus uncapped commissionStart Date: June 2025Contract: Full-time, office-basedWe are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer with a strong background in cryogenics to join our growing team in Acton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in the field and a proven track record in technical sales.This role is ideal for a mature, self-motivated professional who has worked with leading cryogenic and scientific instrumentation companies such as Oxford Instruments, ICE Oxford, Tesla Engineering (Sussex), or Quantum Design.Key Responsibilities:Drive sales of cryogenic and related scientific equipment across the UK and international marketsBuild and maintain strong relationships with academic, research, and industrial clientsProvide technical support and advice throughout the sales processPrepare and deliver compelling proposals and quotationsRepresent the company at industry events and exhibitionsRequirements:Minimum 3 years of experience in technical or sales engineering within the cryogenics or scientific instrumentation sectorSolid understanding of low-temperature physics and associated technologiesStrong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical solutions to a variety of audiencesExperience dealing with high-value capital equipmentProficiency in preparing sales documentation and CRM managementUK work authorization and the ability to commute to Acton dailyDesirable:Familiarity with superconducting magnets, cryostats, or dilution refrigeratorsBackground in Physics, and Mechanical or Electronic/Electrical EngineeringExperience working in or selling to research institutions or laboratoriesWe offer a competitive base salary, uncapped commission structure, and the chance to work in a well-respected and dynamic technical sales environment.If you’re looking to take the next step in your career and bring your cryogenics expertise to a company that values technical knowledge and customer relationships, we’d love to hear from you.To apply, please send your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience and availability
