Physics Teacher: Vibrant School - Hammersmith's Laws of Motion Educator

Our vibrant school in Hammersmith is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Physics Teacher to join our supportive Science department. This is an exciting opportunity for a Physics Teacher to inspire students with the fundamental laws of the universe, teaching Physics from Year 7 through to A-Level. We seek a Physics Teacher who is passionate about making Physics concepts tangible through engaging demonstrations and hands-on experiments, fostering strong analytical and problem-solving skills in every student. Your role as a Physics Teacher will be key to helping our students understand the world around them through the lens of Physics. This Physics Teacher position is highly rewarding.

Location: Hammersmith Role: Physics Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent) Salary: Competitive, with potential for leadership opportunities (TLR).

Key Responsibilities for Our Physics Teacher:

As a Physics Teacher, your primary responsibility will be to plan and deliver high-quality Physics lessons that engage and challenge students across all secondary key stages. This includes effectively teaching core Physics topics such as mechanics, electricity, waves, and quantum Physics. You will be adept at preparing students for GCSE and A-Level Physics examinations, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of the curriculum requirements. An important aspect of this Physics Teacher role is the safe and effective supervision of practical Physics investigations, fostering scientific inquiry and a love for experimentation in Physics. Collaboration with the wider Science team and participation in extracurricular Physics activities are also key for our Physics Teacher.
