  • Outsourcing management:Find and negotiate with new CROs, measure and challenge performance across drug discovery programs through KPI tracking.
  • Project Management Assistance:Support the program leaders to coordinate the execution of DMTA and preclinical/clinical studies.
  • Data Management:Streamline data flows for seamless ingestion into AQEMIA database. Ensure data quality over different sources/partners. Standardize and troubleshoot data management processes.
  • Decision Support:Monitor project outcomes, participate in discussions around findings, and contribute recommendations to project teams for data-driven decision-making.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:Engage with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, medicinal chemists, and project managers.

Competencies & Experience

  • MSc/PhD in Chemistry, Pharmacology, or a related field is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in small molecule drug discovery, ideally within pharmaceutical or biotechnology or CRO companies.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing outsourced studies and collaborating with CROs is essential.
  • Hands-on experience in drug discovery, preferably within pharmaceutical or biotechnology companies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to multidisciplinary project discussions.

Who you are

  • Ready to make an impact on strategy and growth.
  • Enthusiastic about contributing to AQEMIA's drug discovery strategy and eager to expand your knowledge in a cutting-edge environment.

The Ultimate 2025/ 26 Guide to Quantum Machine Learning Jobs in the UK

Quantum computing is hurtling out of the laboratory and into board‑room roadmaps. Over the past year the UK alone has secured more than £700 million in venture backing for quantum scale‑ups, IBM has unveiled a 1,000‑qubit processor, and Westminster has committed £2.5 billion to its National Quantum Strategy. As the underlying hardware scales, employers are scrambling to hire professionals who can fuse quantum principles with modern machine‑learning practice—creating a perfect storm of opportunity for early movers. Whether you are a physicist pivoting into software, a data scientist intrigued by qubits, or a CTO seeking rare talent, this 2025 guide demystifies the rapidly evolving market for quantum machine learning jobs. You will learn where the roles are appearing, which skills command the highest salaries, and how pioneering organisations—from banks to biotech—are already extracting value from quantum‑accelerated AI. Dive in and position yourself at the forefront of an industry set to reshape computing as we know it.

Rural-Remote Quantum Computing Jobs: A New Frontier Beyond the Big Cities

A Fresh Outlook for Quantum Computing Professionals Quantum computing often conjures images of advanced laboratories, cryogenic chambers, and major research hubs in sprawling tech parks or prestigious universities. Historically, London and other big cities have indeed been magnets for quantum computing start-ups and innovation centres. However, the tide is turning. With the accelerated rise of remote work and enhanced digital infrastructure, professionals in this trailblazing field now find they can shape the future of quantum technology from rural and coastal regions across the UK. At QuantumComputingJobs.co.uk, we’ve watched a growing number of applicants intentionally seek out “tech jobs by the sea” or “quantum remote countryside” roles. The reasons are many: a desire for fresh air, a slower pace, reduced living costs, or the inspiration gleaned from scenic landscapes. Quantum computing might be at the cutting-edge of tech, but that doesn’t mean you must trade tranquillity for a daily commute in a bustling metropolis. Below, we explore why rural-remote quantum computing jobs are becoming more common, the benefits and challenges of living away from urban centres, and how to position yourself for success in this new frontier. If you’re ready to combine advanced research or engineering with the quiet allure of the countryside (or the coastal breeze), read on for actionable insights.

Quantum-Enhanced AI Jobs: What Happens When Qubits Meet Neural Nets?

Over the last decade, we have witnessed spectacular leaps in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and quantum computing. From self-driving cars to machine-generated art, AI has permeated our everyday lives. Meanwhile, quantum computing—once the stuff of science fiction—has progressed at breakneck speed, with big players like IBM, Google, and IonQ demonstrating quantum processors that promise exponential computational power. But what happens when these two revolutionary domains converge? Welcome to the era of quantum-enhanced AI, where qubits meet neural networks to unlock computational capabilities far beyond today’s digital norms. In this blog post, we are taking an early thought-leadership stance on a topic that remains relatively uncharted by the wider tech world. With competition sparse, this is an ideal opportunity to position yourself and your organisation at the forefront of a new wave. We’ll dive into the core concepts, examine why quantum-enhanced AI is considered a game-changer, and highlight emerging career opportunities you can seize right now. Whether you’re a machine learning specialist seeking to sharpen your skill set, a quantum computing researcher wanting to apply your expertise, or simply curious about the future of technology, this deep dive is for you.
