What you’ll do

Take ownership of developing new photonic applications, working with customers and academic founders to bring groundbreaking concepts to life. Your expertise will drive the advancement of optical systems, including the design, configuration and testing of laboratory setups for new product capabilities.

Work with femtosecond lasers to develop direct laser processing for existing and new systems, including waveguide writing for photonic integrated circuits. You'll also tackle complex optical systems, using cutting-edge adaptive optics to deliver innovative solutions.

What you’ll need

A degree in Physics with industry experience in optics/photonics, or a PhD and post-doc experience in the field.
Hands-on experience with photonic-based applications.
An understanding of precision instrumentation systems and adaptive optics concepts.
