We are proud of the work we do helping injuredpeople, and this is the core of our business. /nWe are currentlylooking for a newly qualified solicitor to join our thriving firmin Personal Injury. /nYou will be handling a diverse caseload toinclude some pre and post litigation claims from cradle to grave.Tenacity, ability, and enthusiasm are more important thanqualification. /nWe have high quality non-CMC sources for all ourwork, ensuring that our lawyers only deal with genuine cases. /n/nPerson Specification /n/n /n/t - At least 6 months experiencewithin the Personal Injury sector /n/t - Exceptional client careand quality control skills /n/t - Experience with initial clientinception (including risk assessments, setting up the file andrelevant paperwork) /n/t - Previous exposure to providing clientadvice /n/t - The ability to handle a caseload with supervision/n/t - Previous exposure to providing client advice, instructingexperts, analysing reports and valuations advantageous /n/t -Ideally you will have drafted particulars for service, preparedquantum evidence, schedules of loss, instructed counsel, draftedwitness statement and replies /n/t - Proven billing track record ofhandling a litigated caseload /n/t - A focus on advancing cases toand through litigation to achieve the best possible outcome for ourclients /n/t - Knowledge of the civil procedure rules, precedent,trends in litigation, and an ability and willingness to utilise thesame to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients /n/t -Demonstrable experience of dealing with litigated files frominception, through applications and challenges, to trial / disposalhearing /n/t - Knowledge of Proclaim case management system. /n/n/n Responsibilities /n/n /n/n /n/t - Managing a caseload ofPersonal Injury claims from cradle to grave /n/t - Conductingthorough legal research and providing sound legal advice to clients/n/t - Preparing and drafting legal documents, including pleadingsand witness statements /n/t - Negotiating settlements andrepresenting clients in court when necessary /n/t - Working in atarget driven, fast paced environment /n/t - Collaborating withcolleagues to ensure the successful outcome of cases /n/t - Keepingup to date with changes in relevant laws and regulations. /n /n/nSalary & Hours /n/n /n/n /n/t - Newly qualified rate is£36,000. Along with a very generous commission scheme, paid monthlyin arrears. We can be flexible for candidates withpre-qualification experience /n/t - Our standard working hours are8:30am to 5:30pm Monday-Thursday and 8:30am to 5pm Friday. /n /n/n/n
