As part of our mission to expand our world class team at Quantinuum, we look for talented and high potential individuals to join us in an internship position. In this offer, we are looking for a candidate to contribute to our Fault-Tolerant Quantum Computing (FTQC) software stack. Depending on your background and strengths, you will be working on either:


We are looking for:

  • Background.MSc and PhD students on quantum computing, with computer science studies or hands-on experience.
  • Requirements.Basic understanding of QEC, experience in combinatorial optimisation and programming.
  • Research skills.Search and read scientific literature, critical thinking, ability to come up with ideas independently and communicate problems effectively.
  • Engineering skills.Ability to design and implement solutions with a focus on maintainability and extensibility. Ability to integrate the solutions on the existing software stack.

You will collaborate with researchers and engineers in Quantinuum’s TKET team and participate in discussions with the QEC team. A member of the TKET team will supervise your project and meet with you on a regular basis.
