Your role and responsibilities
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will lead IBM into the future by translating system requirements into the design and development of customised systems in an agile environment. You will work with various projects and clients, working towards client specifications. You will have a real passion for the philosophy of DevOps which you’ll be able to use to your advantage and deliver value for our clients.

Required technical and professional expertise
- Clear leadership experience in Infrastructure & automation data engineering or related field
- Proficiency in Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Apache NiFi and automation development using Python or other programming languages
- Experience with building and deploying machine learning models to production environments
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure & infrastructure data pipelines and DevOps practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage Infrastructure & infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes and VMs to ensure high availability, scalability and security.
- Automation Development: Develop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell or other programming languages
- Hands-on experience with deployments for zero-downtime releases
- Expertise in incident management and root cause analysis for pipeline failure
